About the Founding Feminist Festival
For over 30 years, the Ramsey County Women's Political Caucus's Founding Feminist Festival has recognized women who are pioneers in the fight for women's rights. To date, over 150 women from Minnesota have been selected. That tradition continues through the statewide organization, the Minnesota Women's Political Caucus, as we recognize women of today who are following in our founders footsteps.
In evaluating a woman's record of achievement, both her length and depth of service will be considered.
Founding Feminists
Recognizes women who are pioneers in the fight for women's rights.
Women to Watch
An award based on the above criteria recognizing women ages 35 and under who are working to improve the status of women and deserve recognition as emerging leaders and/or future Founding Feminists
