Dr. Martha Burk, feminist and political psychologist, is the featured speaker at the National Press Club luncheon. She discusses the role of women in the 2008 election and what candidates need to do to gain women's votes. Dr. Burk, past Chair of the National Council of Women's Organizations, is Senior Advisor to Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico.

Feminist leader and political psychologist Martha Burk rejects the argument that Democrats should distance themselves from issues like abortion. She spoke about the influence women will wield during the 2008 presidential election Friday at the National Press Club.
